Sleep Appliance

Obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) is caused by partial or complete obstruction of the airway whilst
sleeping. This can lead to a drop in oxygen levels in the blood circulating around the body. One
of the most common results of this drop in oxygen levels is disturbed sleep, which can in turn
result in excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS). Habitual snoring may indicate that you are
developing OSA. It may also be a symptom of underlying OSA.
